Set your Fulfillment Strategy

A Fulfillment Strategy is an option which dictates the nature of the Fulfillment Process, when using MyPost Business. There are two fulfillment strategy options available to you during this process.

Option 1: Pay & Print Labels through the MyPost Business Portal

If you select this option you'll start the fulfillment process in Addition then be taken to the MyPost Business portal to pay for your order and print shipping labels. Lastly, you'll jump back to Addition to complete the fulfillment process.

  1. To select this option, from your Addition dashboard, click Settings.
  2. Click Accounts.
  3. Click your saved MyPost Business account.
  4. Then scroll down to the 'Fulfillment Strategy' section.
  5. Here select 'Pay & Print Labels through MyPost Business Portal' and click Save.

Selecting this option will mean that while you are completing the fulfillment process you'll work through these steps:

  1. Begin a fulfillment (Choose which orders are in the fufillment)
  2. Create Shipments (Check your order addresses and create shipments for them)
  3. Pay & Print (You'll be taken to the MyPost Business portal to pay for your shipments and print shipping labels)
  4. Fulfill Orders (Return to Addition to mark your orders as fulfilled)

NOTE: If you've been using Addition for your fulfillment prior to March 2021 you've been using Option 1. If you'd prefer to change your fulfillment strategy, just follow the instructions below.

Option 2: Pay & Print Labels in Addition

If you select this option you'll complete the whole fulfillment process in Addition.

To use this fulfillment strategy you'll need to make sure you have connected your MyPost Business account to your Addition. If you've previously been using the above Option 2, follow the guide Upgrade your MyPost Business account to get your partner token and complete the connection. Then you'll be able to follow the below steps to select this fulfillment strategy:

  1. To select this option, from your Australia Post Shipping dashboard, click Settings.
  2. Click Accounts.
  3. Click your saved MyPost Business account.
  4. Then scroll down to the 'Fulfillment Strategy' section.
  5. Here select 'Pay & Print labels inside Addition' and click Save.

Selecting this option will mean that while you are completing the fulfillment process you'll work through these steps:

  1. Begin a fulfillment (Choose which orders are in the fufillment)
  2. Create Shipments (Check your order addresses and create shipments for them)
  3. Order Manifests (Create a MyPost Business order and automatically pay via the card saved to your Australia Post account)
  4. Shipping Labels (Print your shipping labels)
  5. Fulfill Orders (Mark your orders as fulfilled)

Tip: Don't change your fulfillment strategy part way through a fulfillment. Your fulfillment process is based on the the fulfillment strategy set before you begin a fulfillment.
