How to install the Addition app
Open your browser and visit: console.addition.app
- Enter your myshopify.com domain in the field provided and click Submit.
This is the domain you visit to view your Shopify admin. For example: shopname.myshopify.com
- Authorize the app within the Shopify app install flow. This will allow the app to provide your store with Carrier Rates and set up the recurring charge to use the app.
- Once you have approved the app and it has been successfully added it to your store you will be taken to the Addition dashboard to complete the next steps.
Well done, you've now installed Addition to your Shopify Store. But, make sure to follow the next process as it is critical to completing the setup.
How to install the carrier shipping service
Next, click Install Carrier. This will make Addition a 'shipping carrier' option in your Zones within Shopify.
Great, now you have installed Addition (Australia Post Shipping) as a 'shipping carrier' option.
This means your store can now connect to the app to quote Australia Post shipping rates when customers checkout in your store. Without this setup, your store will not be able to receive rates via the app, so make sure you complete both of the above processes.
